The DR500 Traffic Calming radar has been available with a built in statistics package since 2006, that works inside the radar.
The advanced design of the statistics package allows it to track multiple targets simultaneously- a capability not possible in competing stats packages implemented outside the radar.

Additionally, each DR500 radar is "stats capable". Once ordered, it only takes a simple product activation key (input via the IR remote) to "turn it on".
This feature allows the stats capability to be deployed even after the radar has been installed in the field or at a later date as an "upgrade".
The built-in stats package is complemented by a comprehensive Microsoft Windows™ based stats analysis software program. This software program allows the user to download stats from the DR500 radar to the personal computer, maintain multiple projects (group data by projects) and create interactive multiple analysis charts.
In our Houston Radar Stats Analyzer there is no need for the user to import the stats data into Excel and then manually create graphs and charts to analyze the data. Additionally, Excel charts do not support interactivity- a prominent feature of the Houston Radar Stats Analyzer software package.
Some highlights of the Stats Analyzer are:
* Save/Maintain stats data by project type. Open multiple projects at once
* Trim stats data from any desired start/end dates
* "Re bin" stats data from 1 minute collection intervals to custom time intervals
* Chart stats data into speed charts, traffic density charts and speed by density histograms
* Interact with charts via advanced interactions like zoom in/out, start/end date change etc
* Copy charts to paste into any Windows program for custom reports
* Export raw data for including into reports or into Excel if required (with our interactive charts- why bother?)
