What product can I use to count vehicles entering a parking lot?

Our Armadillo Crossfire (https://houston-radar.com/products/radar-data-collectors/armadillo-crossfire-multilane-traffic-collector/) can be used at each entrance to count the vehicles passing through that entrance. You would need one at each entrance. When reviewing the data, you must add them to get the total number of vehicles.

However:

1. It’s important to note that while the Crossfire can detect stopped traffic, its counting accuracy is compromised in stop-and-go traffic situations. The best accuracy is achieved when the traffic is free-flowing.
2. It should not be used to determine the availability of parking spaces over long periods of time.  Even a 95% accurate counter will over or under count 5 vehicles out of 100.  Those undercounts will be shown as available capacity, which will be incorrect.  As the number of vehicles grows, that incorrect count grows as well.
