Earlier in the month, Vipin (CEO and chairman of Houston Radar) traveled to the UK to assist our distributor, Rennicks, install a SpeedLane Pro with MSF Ltd and National Highways. This SpeedLane Pro is installed at a trial site on M1 outside of Nottingham, England.
This SpeedLane Pro is being used to measure arterial traffic and provide that data to the MIDAS Outstation. The SpeedLane Pro communicates with our loop replacement cards (LRC224E in this case) to provide data similar to data from a loop detector controller and loops in the road.
