Improved Range: A Standard Feature for All New SS400 Units
In exciting news, we have significantly improved the detection range of our existing SS400 product line. All SS400 units shipped after July 2024 now include enhanced hardware that significantly extends the detection range beyond the previous 300 feet. The detection range is increased from about 300 feet (90m) for a typical sedan to over 450 feet (130 m).
You can enjoy the benefits of this improved range without any additional adjustments and same ultra low power usage of 50mW (4.5mA at 12V). Your SS400 is ready to provide accurate traffic data over a wider area.
