HOUSTON RADAR, a leading provider of traffic and data radars, is seeking a dynamic Business Development & Sales Manager. The ideal candidate will be based in Houston, but we are open to applicants from San Antonio, Austin, or the Dallas/Ft Worth area. This role is perfect for a motivated individual with a passion for technology and innovation in traffic management solutions. As a Business Development Sales Manager, you will play a key role in expanding our market presence across North America and World Wide, driving sales strategies, and building lasting relationships with clients. You will work closely with our engineering and product teams to deliver customized solutions that meet the unique needs of each client. Role & Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand customer base and achieve sales targets
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the North American market
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients, ensuring their needs are met and exploring opportunities for upselling
  • Collaborate with the product and engineering teams to tailor solutions that meet client requirements
  • Provide market feedback to the company leadership regarding competitive offerings, prospect needs, and generate product development ideas
  • Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to promote HOUSTON RADAR products and brand
  • Prepare and deliver presentations and demonstrations to clients and stakeholders
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to forecast trends and adjust strategies accordingly
